Visitors offer Brett job as local spokesperson

Local baseball legend George Brett is being wooed as the new local spokesperson for the Visitors, according to reports from the Freedom Network released today.

Brett has apparently received a number of calls from Visitor commanders and had dinner last night with John, the Supreme Commander, at a downtown restaurant.

We cannot confirm Brett's level of interest, but The Freedom Network reports that he has made several trips to Visitor Security Headquarters in midtown Kansas City in the past week.

Visitor presence brings birthday party to early end

A friend's birthday bash at the Uptown Theater in midtown was cut short when Visitor shocktroopers suddenly surrounded the building and ordered it closed.

We were all ejected from the building but were able to leave on our own two feet. They didn't say why the building was being closed, and resistance fighters I contacted this afternoon said they had no intelligence about the raid at this point.

However, the person I spoke to said that the Visitors are establishing security headquarters in all major cities. Perhaps they just found one in Kansas City? Stay tuned. ...

All flights grounded indefinitely as curfew extended

Visitor control over activity on Earth increased ominously today as the alien invaders acted to ground all flights (national and international) indefinitely. The decision was announced as part of a list of things that the Visitors are doing to enforce the curfew and martial law we've been living under for some time now.

This was the scene (pictured) at KCI today. Shocktroopers were everywhere and people whose flights were cancelled were left to wander the airport while waiting to reclaim the luggage they had checked earlier with the intent of leaving the city.

I didn't witness any arrests and it seems that the would-be passengers suffered nothing more than confusion and disappointment at not being able to travel today.

Freedom Network airs shuttle attack footage

A rebel's thrilling escape from a Visitor shuttlecraft was broadcast today on the newly launched Freedom Network, an independent TV channel based in New York City.

The video footage, which you can watch here, shows Mike Donovan, a leader of the L.A. Resistance, evading a shuttle in downtown L.A. The shuttle sprays laserfire through the streets in pursuit of Donovan but thankfully fails to hit the target.
